Resting is crucial in the creation of everything, yet most residences require you to be in active pursuit of a body of work. My family residence is for the pursuit of emptying one's mind and active rest, making space for anew.
Rest can mean many things: sleep, cooking, picking flowers, swimming, listening to birds, sketching... also creation.
It's not like creative pursuits aren't welcome here. We would just like to extend an invitation to clean the slate and let the surrounding nature in the ever-creative, mystical Karelian landscape speak to you.
